Charlie Haden
When it comes to jazz, Charlie Haden has earned his place in the pantheon. He first heard jazz in Omaha and went on to connect with fellow musicians such as Hampton Hawes, Paul Bley, and Art Pepper. Haden also formed a group in 1986 called Quartet West, which featured musicians such as saxophonist Ernie Watts and pianist-arranger Alan Broadbent. Nate Ruess
