Twisted Palace is the final installment in the Royals series. It's a worthy sequel to Broken Prince and Paper Princess. This novel, entitled "This Generation's Cruel Ideas", is sure to appeal to fans both of historical fiction as well as fantasy. This novel is a great read for those who love historical fiction, royal families, and vampires. It was a great read! This review contains spoilers about Twisted Palace. Be prepared for spoilers!

Steve O'Halloran

The second book in the Reed Royal Series is "Steve O'Halloran At Twisted Palace". He was accused of killing Brooke Dawson, and Steve O'Halloran returned from the dead to care for his daughter Ella. Steve O'Halloran may not be a typical father and is trying his best to dictate what Ella should do. This is not a great situation for Ella. Ella has grown tired of being told what should she do. She must learn to cope with Reed's abusive relationship and Steve O'Halloran's insistence on her actions or else she'll be the next murder victim.

Reed

Reed's Twisted Palace is a story about young lovers who must battle the law to save their families and escape the consequences. This novel was the result of two bestselling authors. Ella Reed and Ella are the greatest of friends. But their paths do not always go in the same direction. Throughout the series, readers will experience both of these characters' journeys as they battle their pasts to save their families and themselves.

Steve's relationship and Ella

The Broken Prince 3rd installment picks up from Twisted Palace. Ella is having trouble establishing a relationship with her new father, who is a selfish jerk. Steve pulls Ella away form Reed and imposes strict rules on her. Ella feels abandoned and unsupported as a result. But how does Ella manage to stay in a relationship with a self-centered jerk like that?

Falling apart in Twisted Palace

Twisted Palace balances Ella and Reed's love triangle well but lacks romance. While the romance between Reed and Ella is more intense and passionate than in most YA novels, it is overshadowed by the possibility of a murder conviction and Ella's machinations. Twisted Palace's romance ends up being a cliché.

Steve's story ends in a terrible way

It was disappointing to see the end of Steve's story at Twisted Palace. The storyline focused on the relationship between Ella and Reed, the relationship between Brooke and her baby daddy, and Steve's relationship with Ella's mom. The author didn't pay enough attention to finding out who the true killer was, and there was no explanation about where Steve was. It's hard to imagine how much more interesting the story could have been without these recurring characters.
