Creation of a wax model

To create a wax figure, you need a metal skull that will serve as the base of the head and body. The skeleton can then be filled with molten rubber and allowed to cool. The iris, veins, and silk threads are then hand-painted by artists. The wax figure then goes to its final destination in a foam-lined container.
