You cannot, for instance, charge different prices at different theaters. And you can't charge different fees to different customers.
Other companies cannot also sell your services.
Is Hollywood greater than Bollywood
The biggest challenge for any film producer is how to make sure his movie gets noticed by audiences.
Problem is, there are many films competing for viewers' time and money. If you don't stand out, your chances of being seen are slim.
But what makes a movie great? What makes an actor or director famous? Or a director? Talent is not enough. It also requires luck. It doesn't matter if your actors are the best in the world. But a poor script will make you lose everything.
When it comes to movies, there are two main types. There are big-budget blockbusters as well as small independent productions. Blockbuster films can cost hundreds and millions of dollars to make and distribute. They are typically made by huge studios who want to ensure that their movies reach a wide audience. These big-budget movies appeal to older audiences.
Independent films, which are typically smaller-scale productions, can be financed either by individual investors or groups. These films focus on niche markets or cater to particular tastes. These films are typically less expensive to produce and sell. But, they aren't necessarily cheaper to view. Many indie films are hard to find.
Is it possible to have both types of films? Is it necessary to have both blockbuster and independent movies? Hollywood is bigger than Bollywood, according to me. Hollywood produces more movies than India every year.
How much does it cost to distribute a feature film?
A distribution deal typically costs between $100,000 and $150,000.
The average theater cost is about $10,000.
The average screen cost is about $5,000
It means that, if you have 100 screens your distribution fees would be $500,000.
If you have ten screens, your distribution fees would be $50,000.

Why is Hollywood so famous?
D.W. Griffith founded the first film industry in California in 1887. It was named for its Los Angeles location, also known as Hollywood at that time.
The name stuck because it was such an exciting place for people to visit. It was a place that people would travel from all walks of the globe to experience.
Hollywood is an important part of culture today. We have movies, television shows, music videos, commercials, etc. These are all known as Hollywood.
What percentage of the box office goes to marketing budgets?
Marketing budgets account for approximately 20% to 40% of film budgets. This is because marketing is very important to the success of any film.
Marketing is the only way to make sure that your film is known. People won't pay for it if they don’t know about it.
Why are so few independent films ever distributed?
Indie filmmakers often assume that distributors will pick up their films.
Because they are confident that the public will love their film, they believe distributors would be willing to buy it.
However, this is seldom the case. Distributors often benefit from independent filmmakers.
They may delay a film's release until after the awards season is over.
They might delay the release of low-budget films until after the summer blockbuster series has begun.
Distributors try to keep films out of the hands of audiences until they've spent hundreds on tickets, popcorn, and candy.
They don't wish to lose those profits.
